In July of this year, specially selected episodes of the anime will be broadcast on Japanese television, recapitulating everything that happened to Naruto and his team. To that end, the official Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Twitter account posted three images on the same day that summarize the journey and growth of Naruto and Sasuke, as well as their friends and foes.īut the creators of the anime have decided not to dwell on last year's hype. Last October, the franchise, which spans multiple manga and anime series, video games, and film adaptations, celebrated its 20th anniversary: the original series, based on the manga written by Masashi Kishimoto, was first aired on October 3, 2002.
Apparently, the creators have understood this as well because they decided to release completely new episodes dedicated to the titular protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, set in the time of the original series.
